LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Safdar Ali Bhatti has directed the police chiefs of Lahore and the Punjab to respond by April 18 to two petitions filed by Ayesha Ahad Malik, who claims to be the ex-wife of Hamza Shahbaz. Malik filed one plea seeking a case against Sharif and others for assaulting and threatening her and her family and the other seeking protection. She told the court that on April 6, Inspector Rizwan, Shakil Tariq and others forced their way into her house, beat her servants, and threatened to kill them if they did not stop talking about the CM’s son. The judge directed the IG, the CCPO, the DIG (Operation), the Cantt SP and the Southern Cantt SHO to submit parawise comments on the petitions by April 18.
