Eu markets: Pakistan can use Turkey as base

We can serve as a bridge for Pakistani businessmen, says chairman of the Iziad Businessmen Association, Izmir.

KARACHI:

Pakistani businessmen can use Turkey as a base to produce goods and export them to the European Union (EU), according to Resul Secilmis, chairman of the Iziad Businessmen Association, Izmir.

He was talking to members of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) here on Tuesday. “We can serve as a bridge for Pakistani businessmen,” he said.

Secilmis is leading a trade delegation from Turkey. He said that Turkey has access to the EU market and he invited Pakistani exporters to utilise this facility.
