Kidnapping-for-ransom: Two youngsters abducted

Sabir said the kidnappers contacted the family at night and demanded Rs20 million ransom.

FAISALABAD: Two youngsters were kidnapped for ransom in Peoples Colony precincts on Sunday. The FIR registered by Muhammad Sabir, a resident of G-block Madina Town, stated that his sons Talha Sabir, 22, and Hamza Sabir, 16, were taken away by unknown men from his car parked near a plaza. Sabir said the kidnappers contacted the family at night and demanded Rs20 million ransom. Sabir said the boys were waiting for their mother, who was in the shopping plaza, when the incident took place. “They were missing from the car when my wife returned,” he said.
