Cricket: PTCL Lahore emerge victorious

Lahore team won the tournament by thrashing Faisalabad Telecom Region in the contest.

KARACHI: PTCL Lahore have won the inaugural PTCL Inter-Regional Cricket Tournament 2012 at the Wapda Cricket Ground, Lahore. The Lahore team won the tournament by thrashing Faisalabad Telecom Region in the contest. Faisalabad’s Shehzad Mehmood was announced as the man of the match, while Lahore’s Arslan Shahid was awarded a trophy for the best batsman. Meanwhile, Faisalabad’s Munir Ahmed and Qadir Kaleemullah received trophies for the best bowler and man of the series respectively.
