Cricket: Blind team players, management probed
The world champions, who were the favourites to win the series, lost the one-day and T20 series in Chennai, ending their run of seven successive series wins. Unhappy with the result, the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) formed a committee to investigate the loss and it held its first session yesterday.
“All the players and officials who took part in the series were questioned,” PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah told The Express Tribune. “The committee will meet again before sending its recommendations to the council on April 10.”
The PBCC is expected to make changes after reviewing the committee’s finding to prepare the squad for the blind World Twenty20 Cup in December in India.

So what, the results were never expected; the opponents were not there for fun? We must learn to accept defeats with dignity without coloring each loss as “fixed” and success a triumph? Such stupid, unfounded statements and speculations do more damage to the team morale and the country’s image; nation of cheats.
