Road Safety: Four killed in two accidents

Man and his 3 children were injured in a collision between the motorcycle they were riding and a donkey cart.

FAISALABAD: Five people were killed and five, including three children, suffered injuries in two road accidents in the city on Friday night and Saturday. A motorcycle Maqsood Ahmad, a resident of Chak 281-GB, his daughter Shumaila,  nephew Badil and sister-in-law Parveen were riding collided with Ateeq and Shakeel’s motorbike on Jaranwala-Sitiana Road near Chak 22-GB on Saturday. Ahmed died on the spot while others were taken to a hospital where Ateeq, Shakeel and Badil also died. The two women were referred to Allied Hospital where their condition was stated by doctors treating them as critical.  In another incident on Friday night, Muhammad Farooq, 50, was killed and his three children injured in a collision between the motorcycle they were riding and a donkey cart near Chak 490-GB in Mamonkanjan area. The children were taken to a hospital.
