QUETTA: The teenage son of Director Colleges Balochistan Sadullah had reportedly gone missing from Quetta on Saturday.

According to family sources, 16-year-old Aftikharullah left home located on Prince Road of Quetta at 5:30 on Friday and is missing ever since.

“My son left for his tuition centre but did not reach there. I lodged an FIR at the Guwalmandi Police Station,” Director Colleges Sadullah told The Express Tribune.

The police suspected that it could be a case of kidnapping for ransom. However, Sadullah said that he has not received any call from the kidnappers yet.

“I do not know whether he was kidnapped because I only informed the police about my missing son after 24 hours of him going missing,” he added.

The police launched an investigation into the matter.
