Day 3: President continues attacking PML-N
Talking to media reporters at the Governor House, he said that his party wanted to form a coalition with the Sharif brothers to remove then president Pervez Musharraf, which he termed was the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) first and foremost target.
He claimed that he thought of “Nawaz Sharif as my brother, and despite him not being loyal towards the PPP, I will continue to be loyal towards him and his party.”
Regarding the reopening of the Nato supply routes, he was adamant that the parliament would decide on the issue and all options would be laid on the table. He added that he believed he served Pakistan with dignity and by upholding the Constitution, saying that no one could hold this against him. “The secret to my success is trust in God,” he expressed.
When asked about the US bounty placed on the head of Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, he said that he would let the parliament decide on what course of action to take and it will have his full support on whatever it decided.
He was also in a defiant mood about his detractors constantly leveling allegations and threatening him. “Eight years ago someone threatened to hang me in Karachi in public. Let them continue hurling such threats towards me, I have full faith in God that he will protect me.”

The PTI supporter is frustrated and flummoxed about IK and the walking contradiction he has become. They have nothing to say apart from cliched "buzz words".
Zardari is the most admirable political figure that Pakistan has produced in decades. He has managed to keep every political aspirant including the generals in their place without ever disregarding the law or stepping over the legal boundary or the sanctity of the Pakistani constitution. General Zia, Nawaz Sharif have both colluded in showing disdain for the constitution. As for Musharaf he actually committed treason and should be brought back to Pakistan to face charges of treason against the constitution. Mr President please continue to lead the PPP and Pakistan to a better future
Seems like the old trick of the book. Seeing PTI replacing both main stream parties as the opposition or perhaps even government, the samjotha express has taken a detour and wants to remind the junta of its presence. Laptops, Houses, Rickshaws and so many other sweet lollipops.
Sadly we have 18 million spectators and very few leaders. This nation is sadly on a path of no return and is collapsing each passing day.

@siddique: I share your opinion. This is a national tragedy for Pakistan but the politicians are busy with their power struggle and the normal citizens fed up of load shedding and thousands other problems.
I offer my deep condolences to the parents, wives, children, siblings of these brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives at such a high altitude, just to satisfy the hatred-filled egos of the Pakistani and Indian army generals.
For a change the man standing behind Mr Zardari in a red tie in glasses is his so called adopted brother Mr Owais Muzzafar (TAPI) known to his close allies is standing behind him, the defacto sindh revenue department runner,the man who takes care of all that requires to be taken care of. The man who enjoys the kickbacks of our nation in UAE and spends it on his pleasures in Grovenor house or perhaps in his Arabian ranches. Im surprised the poor lad has finally been allowed to come in front, but dosnt he realize his game is probably up.
the president of pakistan is indeed a brave man remains mr shareef and nawaz,they are no match to this genius who prevented Pakistan being declared a failed state and secured his county's atomic weapons

This is all drama. They give statement against each other in public and when they sit togerther they plan how to loot and plunder this country. Our stupid people always fell in trap.
