Hockey: Pakistan juniors outclass Malaysia

Pakistan led 3-2 at half-time before consolidating their position after the interval.

KARACHI: Upcoming youngster Aleem Bilal scored twice as the Pakistan junior team overcame Malaysia 5-3 in their opening encounter of three-match series in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. According to details provided by the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Pakistan led 3-2 at half-time before consolidating their position after the interval. Apart from Bilal, Rana Umair, Dilber Hussain and Muhammad Irfan were the other scorers for Pakistan. The second match of the series will be played today.
