National politics of Pakistan is wobbly and uncertain. It generates panic among the general public. The level of pygmy politicians cannot solve problems. The level of politicians and governance in the country has hit rock-bottom so much so that Americans choose to deal with them at the level of Deputy / Assistant Secretary.

The question the US has always wanted answered is just when is PAK going to control the land which it claims sovereignty and territorial integrity over. If PAK believes it does control this land then PAK is in fact a supporter of terrorism.... Something the world believes more and more with each passing day. Under these conditions it is difficult to build respect and shared interests.
