War against terrorism: Families of martyrs to be given land

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has directed the Sindh government to provide free land to the families of martyrs of the personnel from intelligence agencies. Three hundred acres have been allocated in Defence Housing Authority, located on the Super Highway, for the families of martyrs as the families of martyrs of the Pakistan Army were given 1,000 acres. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, after receiving directions from the president, told the Sindh Board of Revenue to provide possession of the land to both institutions immediately. The government has taken this step to keep up the morale of the families whose loved ones made sacrifices during the war against extremism and at the borders.
