Traffic controllers: CAA director accepts demands

KARACHI: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Director General Nadeem Khan Yousufzai has accepted demands of air traffic controllers who have been agitating for the last few days for an increase in wages. On Tuesday, Yousufzai held a meeting with the traffic controllers and accepted their demands, a CAA spokesperson said. Yousufzai said apart from the traffic controllers, the interests of other employees would also be taken care of. He also assured them that their demands would be discussed in the forthcoming meeting of CAA board scheduled to be held in second week of April. Following the acceptance of their demands, the air traffic controllers assured the CAA of their support in ensuring smooth operations.
