Pakistan-UAE relations: Naval cooperation to improve ties

ABU DHABI: “Pakistan and the UAE enjoy deep rooted relations that will further strengthen with cooperation between their naval forces,” Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Jamil Ahmed Khan said. He made these remarks during his trip to Pakistan’s naval ships Madadgar and Shujaat, currently on a goodwill visit to the UAE. Ambassador Khan stated that the joint naval exercise between the two countries was yet another manifestation of military cooperation between them. He extended his gratitude to the UAE government for its support in conducting the exercise. He also claimed that some countries had shown interest in indigenously built ships, which Pakistan was considering to construct and sell to interested countries.
