‘Festive’ firing: Two injured, three arrested

Three men were arrested from two weddings after two people were injured from celebratory firing.

FAISALABAD: Three men, including a brother of the groom, were arrested from two weddings on Monday after two people were injured from celebratory firing. The injured, Farhan Shakoor and Ghulam Dastagir, guests at the wedding in Khan Model Colony and Farooqabad, respectively, were hospitalised. Their condition was stated by doctors who treated them as critical. Saddar police later arrested Khalid, a brother of the groom from the wedding in Khan Model Colony. Arif and Shehzad were arrested by Mansoorabad police from the Farooqabad wedding.
