ISLAMABAD:

Olympian Shahnaz Sheikh said that the 2012 London Olympics will provide new players a good chance to show their worth in the national team.

“It’ll be a real test for the new players and we’ll get a chance to see whether they’re able to handle the pressure in the Olympics or not,” he said. “Occupying a space in the top-four will be tough but not impossible. Pakistan will have to compete against world champions Australia, Great Britain, Spain, Argentina and one team from the qualifiers and our best chance will come against a qualifying team, Argentina and Spain.”

Shahnaz further said that Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) should start making a strategy for each and every match right now.
