A medical officer was deprived of a large amount of jewellery here on Sunday.
Dr Sharifullah, who runs a private hospital in Khanpur, told the police that he received a phone call two days back. The caller introduced himself as Military Intelligence Major Noorul Hassan Bukhari and said that an Afghan refugee who was arrested for robbery revealed during interrogation that he had kept stolen cash and jewellery with him.
The ‘major’ then asked him to come to a private guest house in Abbottabad, where, upon arrival, he asked the doctor to take him to his house so he may question his wife.
According to the doctor, the caller managed to swindle gold ornaments worth 125 grams while questioning his wife. He then requested to take him back to the guest house. As soon as they got back, the ‘major’ served him with a glass of sedative-laced drink, after which he fell unconscious. When he regained consciousness, the swindler had fled with all the jewellery and his mobile phone.
The local police claim to have traced the swindler, allegedly named Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah, and have registered a case against him.

@ Jibran
Someone made him a mamo by pretending to be someone else. People do this all over the world. The jeweller was dumb enough to believe him. What does this have to do with parallel governments? What will you do if I call you and say the same stuff? Please grow up and try to talk sense.
This happens when military agencies run parallel government. Confusion and chaos!
@Pakistan politics: Read it again carefully.
