Rebuttal: No ceasefire with Mangal Bagh, says ISPR

PESHAWAR: The military on Saturday denied any ceasefire with Mangal Bagh in Bara Tehsil of Khyber Agency. Referring to a news report appearing in the press, the ISPR categorically stated that no peace talks between the security forces and Mangal Bagh were under way. It added that no truce had been implemented in Bara as part of a larger peace deal with Mangal Bagh. Security forces are carrying out regular operations in Bara and will continue with these until the restoration of complete peace in the region, added the statement from ISPR.
