Kidnapping Attempt: Case against six for injuring workers

FAISALABAD: Jhang Bazaar police have registered a case against six labour union leaders on charges of assaulting two power loom workers on resisting their attempt to abduct them from the factory premises. The FIR accuses six leaders including Mehmood alias Moodi, Amanat Ali, Azeem and Tariq of forcing an entry into the factory of one Imran in Liaqat Abad and attempting to abduct two workers Shafat Ali and Javaid alias Jedi. It said the workers were beaten up and injured on putting up resistance. The police have started raiding the area to arrest the suspects.
