Cricket: Sadiq takes Afghanistan to a win

Entertaining century helped Afghanistan clinch a five-wicket win over the Netherlands.

Karim Sadiq’s second entertaining century helped Afghanistan clinch a five-wicket win over the Netherlands in the second One-Day International in Sharjah, according to cricketworld.com.  The two-match series was the latest episode in the struggle to qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and with a win apiece, both sides kept themselves in contention. Sadiq struck 100 off just 74 balls while captain Nawroz Mangal stroked an unbeaten 43 off 58 balls to guide their side to the win.
