Militancy: Power pylon blown up near Peshawar

Two of three bombs went off, destroying two pillars completely.

PESHAWAR: Unidentified miscreants blew up an electricity tower in Peshawar’s suburban area of Badabher late Thursday night, police said.

Two of the three bombs planted along three pillars of the tower went off while the third did not explode. The blast completely destroyed two pillars while the third device was defused by the bomb disposal squad.

“We have defused the third device weighing almost one kilogramme,” SHO Abdur Rehman told The Express Tribune.
