Crime: Cash, valuables robbed

Dacoits looted Rs8 million and gold ornaments worth Rs2 million.

HARIPUR:


Six armed men deprived a car dealer of cash and valuables on Tuesday. 


The dacoits looted Rs8 million and gold ornaments worth Rs2 million. Nasir Khan, an Afghan national, said the police chased the suspects but they managed to flee.

SHO Chanzen Tanoli said the complainant and his brothers lent money to businessmen on profit and it was likely that the robbery was committed by their ‘clients’.
