Punjab police blame uniform for their ‘grumpiness’

IG Punjab police says black colour of the uniform absorbs more heat, announces change of colour.

The police have finally discovered the cause of being hot-headed all the time: their black-coloured uniform.

Inspector General of Punjab Police Haji Habeebur Rehman told the media on Wednesday that it was the dark uniform which makes them ‘grumpy’.

This colour absorbs more heat and that is why the police are twice as hot-headed, Rehman told the media during a press conference at Rahim Yar Khan District Police Office (DPO).

The police have therefore decided to change the colour of the uniform, Rehman further said.
