Heinous Crime: 4 arrested for raping disabled woman
A 22-year-old victim filed complaint with the police saying that she was kidnapped from her house by four men.

The Gaggo Mandi police on Tuesday arrested four men accused of raping a physically disabled woman. Police said the main suspect was arrested for the crime, while the rest of the three for helping him kidnap the victim. Police said the investigation of the case had been initiated. The 22-year-old victim filed a complaint with the police on Monday saying that she was kidnapped from her house by four men. She said her husband was at work at the time. She said she was taken to a vacant house, where she was raped by Sarfaraz, while his accomplices Latif Gujjar, Aslam Rath and Riaz Arain watched the house. She said they later locked her in the house and fled. She said a few hours later a passer-by heard her shout for help and freed her. She said he helped her go home. Station House Officer Rafiq Joiya filed the FIR on the complaint of the victim’s husband. The accused were arrested a day after the alleged incident. The SHO said that further action will be taken after the victim’s medico-legal report was received from the Burewala tehsil headquarters hospital.
