Gilani briefly meets Obama in Seoul

Tells US President that Pakistan's foreign policy will be formulated by the parliament.

SEOUL:
Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani briefly met US President Barack Obama on Monday. The two  discussed the future foreign policy of Pakistan which will be formulated by the latter's parliament.

Gilani and Obama walked towards the dining hall, informally exchanging views on Pakistan-US relations, to attend a dinner arranged for the world leaders attending the second Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul.

The Premiere is also scheduled to meet Obama again on Tuesday evening.


The summit started on Monday to discuss the issues related to nuclear security and for preparing recommendations for the safety of nuclear material. Pakistan is represented by Gilani at the summit.

Leaders of around 53 countries and representatives from different world organisations are attending this summit.
