PM contempt: Hearing adjourned till tomorrow due to Aitzaz’s illness

Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, counsel of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in the contempt of court case, submitted a sick leave application in the Supreme Court on Monday, reported Express News.
Aitzaz was sick with food poisoning and not capable of travelling, maintained his assistant lawyer.
The court accepted the application and adjourned the hearing of the case till tomorrow.
The Supreme Court had initiated contempt proceedings against Gilani after the government refused to write a letter to Swiss authorities in the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) implementation case.
