ISLAMABAD: The test results for a suspected case of dengue fever at Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH), Rawalpindi have proven the suspicions false. The patient, Aneeta, was suffering from typhoid and has been discharged. Talking to The Express Tribune, BBH Medical Registrar Dr Imran Arshad confirmed that she was retested after a private laboratory test showed a false positive, adding that she had typhoid not dengue, and her platelet count was very low.
