MoFA appoints new spokesperson

Mazzam Ali Khan will continue to retain his post as Director General European Division.

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday announced the appointment of Moazzam Ali Khan, a senior officer of the Ministry, as the new Foreign Office spokesperson.

A notification to this effect was issued here on Tuesday.

Moazzam Ali Khan, currently working as Director General European Division at the Foreign Office, joined the foreign service of Pakistan in 1986. He has post graduate degrees in Economics and International Relations.

Moazzam Ali Khan has served in various capacities in Pakistani missions abroad including Holland, the United States and India. Besides serving as Foreign Office spokesperson, Khan will also hold his current position as Director General European Division.
