Unruly Behaviour: Fight at central jail leaves one injured

KARACHI: A scuffle between the inmates at the Karachi Central Jail on Tuesday left one injured and admitted to the surgical ward. The injured inmate, identified as Kamran alias Ganja, was taken to the civil hospital. According to the medico-legal officer, Dr Iftikhar Memon, Kamran was hit by a sharp object on his abdomen and was admitted to the Surgical Ward II. The prison DIG, Nusrat Mangan, told The Express Tribune that the jail administration has caught the prisoner, namely Adnan, who attacked and injured Kamran. The reason for the fight is still unknown but a case will be registered against Adnan, said the DIG.
