A man and his son were shot dead by unidentified assailants near Killi Shabo area in the provincial capital on Sunday.
According to police, Yaqoob Shah and his son Naveed Shah were at a grocery shop in Tajikabad area in Killi Shabo when men on a motorbike opened fire. Father and son received multiple bullet wounds in the onslaught.
They were shifted to the Provincial Sandeman Hospital where doctors pronounced them dead on arrival.
“The victims were shot in the head and chest,” doctors revealed.
Police have lodged a case and began investigations. “The incident is being investigated on different accounts,” said an official of the Quetta police. The bodies have been handed over to relatives.

Whether RAW or indigenous elements are behind it but brutality of incidence is obvious.
