LAHORE:
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif should be put in mental hospital with harnesses and restraints on so he can’t hurt other patients, said Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz on Saturday as he escalated an ugly war of words between the two sides.
Reacting to television footage showing Sharif vowing to drag President Asif Zardari through the streets of Karachi, Lahore and Larkana should the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) win the general elections, Riaz said that he would put Sharif on a leash and drag him by the collar through Lahore’s streets like a pet dog should the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) win the elections, “otherwise my name won’t be Raja Riaz”.
Speaking at a press conference at the assembly cafeteria, Riaz said that chief justice of the Lahore High Court should take notice of the chief minister’s statements about the president.
He said that the president had actually helped Sharif become chief minister, since the PML-N did not have the required strength in the Punjab Assembly.
He said that if the PPP won the next general elections, he would drag Sharif to the house of Ayesha Ahad, who claims to be the former wife of Sharif’s son Hamza Shahbaz, so she could finally get justice. He said he would drag Sharif through the streets and ask the victims of his bad policies to come out of their houses and punish him.

Politicians in Pakistan should not stoop to such levels which presents of scenario of two local goonda groups fighting in a street and calling names on each other.
I know much of the Pakistanis who read this online newspapers, they don't vote in elections. I would request please Vote in next elections, by listening to such comments atleast you people can note down who all don't deserve to be elected as our representatives in assemblies...!
Your own Holy Prophet (who was reverred by our Guru Nanak) had said that a people's ruler is a reflection of those people. And centuries later the western democratic system follows what that great Muhammad of Arabia had said. Time for soul searching, brothers. Elections are not very far in your country. You know what I mean? If your leaders have no dignity it means......you have.......none! Take action. Change that perception. It's unfair. I know Pakistanis are better than that. Get rid of the Sharifs and Raja's whose names have no relevance to their personalities.

This is where it all ends up to...abusing, filthy politics...no matter what they say to each other to ignite a media fight, under the table i bet their best friends..they still want each other support so that democracy prevail. Their masala show is now coming to an end.
@ZEE Khan: "Dirty" politicians? Gross understatement. As far as I know, Pakistan still does not have a 24 hour comedy channel (like Comedy Central of New York). If such a channel is ever set up some of our politicians (esp. R.R. and S.S.) would become top comedy stars when and if they lose elections.

PPP and PLM(N) are in a 'fake' wrestling ( NOORA KUSHTI). This rhetoric is part of that.
We always thought Lahore was the cultural capital of Pakistan. (I grew up there and still love Lahore). So what's all this ......rap ?. So Embarrassing. One is Khadim e Punjab ...the other is the would-be/could-be Khadim e Punjab. It seems to me that Lahoris' sophisticated side is shrinking.

Urdu is too harsh a language. These two should stick to speaking Punjabi . They'll at least sound more humorous.
What i would suggest that there should be no elections till we have 100% literacy rate in our country and during this time supreme court may appoint honest technoarates to govern the country.

After uttering these words how you are different to CM of Punjab. One can only seek pardon from Allah (ISTIGHFAR) about the bazari language being used by top notches of political elite. I think all need admission to mental hospital. To my memories once ZA Bhutto used such words for military top brass that he will make generals to broom the streets of staff college Quetta and therafter he landed up for hanging in jail. Oh so called political elite of Pakistan have a mercy on this nation and at least weigh before you utter these words in front of media and people of the county.

Wow. This is democracy at its mudslinging best. Thankfully, there is still leeway for heated debates like this in a country where basic freedoms are under serious challenge.
"Sharif vowing to drag President Asif Zardari through the streets of Karachi, Lahore and Larkana" Sharif brothers have already tried and almost done that. They had put Zardari in jail and concocted dozens of cases against him but could not prove any in the courts. A voice recording played in the HC proved that conspiracy. Their chief puppet Saif even apologized and touched Zardari's feet for making up false cases. Sharifs are not Sharif at all. They are desperate and can see their defeat at the hands of PPP and PTI in the next elections.
