Homeopathy council: PHMA sweeps elections

PHMA won seven seats during the National Council for Homeopathy Pakistan (NCHP) elections.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Homeopathic Medical Association (PHMA) won seven seats during the National Council for Homeopathy Pakistan (NCHP) elections. NCHP is a regulatory body whose office bearers are elected for five years. It works under the Ministry of Health. The PHMA bagged all five seats in the general category and two seats the college category. The new office bearers will now be elected from among the general category winners. Those who won on general category seats are Dr Naeem Hafeez, Dr Tasadduq Hussain, Dr Irfan, Dr Faisal Saleem and Dr Ghulam Murtaza. Dr Mahmoodul Haq Abbasi and Dr MB Javed Awan won in the college category.
