KPT and KESC marked impressive wins at the National Football Challenge Cup to gain full points at the event underway in Karachi.
KPT, who are hosting the tournament, outclassed GPA 4-1 courtesy goals from Mohammad Waseem, Mohammad Bin Younus, Jamaluddin and Zafa Majeed.
Tariq Badal was the lone scorer for the losing side. KESC recorded a 2-0 victory over Pakistan Steel, aided with goals from Essa Khan and Mohammad Rasool. Meanwhile, the match between KRL and Police was abandoned due to a breach of discipline by the latter side, according to the Pakistan Football Federation.
