Gross mistake, realised in time not to join PTI: Marvi Memon
Pointing towards the joining of political stalwarts such as Javed Hashmi and others, she said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf had fast become a Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid part two.
Realising this, Memon said she was glad that she had not joined PTI.
Explaining that she had come to this realisation over a period of time rather than overnight, she said "I got lucky that I realised in time, that this change was not what it claimed to be."
Memon said that the expectations that she, as well as a number of people had with PTI, that they would bring real change, were not met. This, she admitted, was disappointing for everybody, including the PTI which was hoping to take her on board. “When I saw that this had become a PML-Q part two, I could not join it.”
She added that by joining the PTI, she would have continued the same mistake she made in joining the PML-Q, from which she resigned in 2011.
Though she went on to insist that her decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was not for power or money.

@ET Editor: Shame on you for not providing the complete story where she was not able to answer correctly even why she joined PML-N, where she was not able to answer why she called Musharraf as GOD Father, where she became so smart and developed incredile understanding of politics in just last 1 year to know to whom join and started calling innocent and fool to SMQ and JH for joing PTI for making the mistake, what exactly she realised what the SMQ and JH could not understand for staying 3 decades in politics.
I think what you are trying to potray here for the people of pakistan is that PML-N is the hope.
Moreover why dont you post the news here how Kamil Ali Agha critized your News Analyst Javed Chaudry and news reporter Asad Kharal in a program hosted by Javed Chaudry for supporting PML-N by informing only PML-N particpant about the format of the program and question to be asked, so that you both can malign other parties. showing PML-N dhood se dhuli!!

People have so much time free to discuss a women in politics who don't have ever CONTESTED a general election. She gets in to Parliament on women quota. Why every one is wasting energies on bashing or evening defending her. What difference it makes if she go to PTI or specially PMLN. Its not a small party that coming or going of someone can make effect on it ..

Marvi has lost her credibility and If I were Nawaz Shareef, I would NOT trust her too much because one day, for sure, she will be speaking out against PML N.

Simple answer for this is if people from PML-Q joins PTI which makes it PML-Q 2, then the party Marvi Memon has joined should be PML-Q 3. Because she also came from PML-Q, not only that but she also remained spoke person for ISPR on handsome salary package and used to call Musharraf her God-Father. Such an illogical and irrational approach by an maniac lady. Moreover, miserable and desperate act from tribune that from the whole program it only picked up the part which was somewhat against PTI, but quit the whole other program in which Marvi Memon was completely and badly exposed.
She should say 'The moment they rejected me as they information secretary I realized this is not a party of change'.

My vote is split between Kashmala and Marvi. I support all their decisions by heart and soul (no pun intended) . Whoever they join our support is unconditional.
PMLn supporters please watch the whole show and see how she gets owned. PTI supporters please don't scold ET if some criticizes IK, some actually helps PTI to align their strategy and it hardly changes anyone's perception about IK. Enjoy
Unfortunately she has lost her credibility, not sure if she had any. She only realised that nawaz is the only leader to get this country out of the mess after her appointment was rejected by CEC( apparently drafted by herself). Not sure why media is giving undue attention. Marvi WHO, she can't even get 10,000 votes in election, she be better off working for a NGO.
Not joining PTI might not be that bad to Memon but joining PML-N jeez louise is a sin!!!

I saw Imran Khan's interview with Mubashir Luqman he clearly pointed out that you were demanding the position of PTI's information secretery but IK told you that CEC would have to decide. On which point you decided to join PML-N. The show also broadcasted a video of you being given a ministorial protocal by the Punjab government just for joining the party. Its good that such power hungry people like you joined a politically dieing party like PML-N.

If I leave Q and join N, it will never make N a Q part 2. But if some one else leaves Q and join PTI, It will definitely make PTI , PML Q part 2. What a lame !

LOL. It has become a trend now for politicians to get rejected by PTI and then cry about it and say THEY were the ones who rejected PTI, rather than the other way round. Marvi is one such politician. It was a simple case of no-option-left for her that she chose to join PML-N as joining PPP would have been a negation of all that she had been saying for four years in the public eye. Having joined PML-N however, she's now finding it hard to justify her decision, especially given how she has been harping on about REAL CHANGE everywhere, most notably on her twitter account.
If PML-N was really a party of CHANGE, they would have changed Punjab. Instead what we see is no local government elections (keeps delaying them for 4 years now) leading to BAD governance leading to calls of separate provinces especially in Southern Punjab.
If Marvi Memon can switch over her loyalty from PML(Q) to PML(N), she can also switch over her loyalty from PML(N) to some other political party for personal gains.
Change of political loyalty is not similar to change of job from one company to another company.
Any person who wants to join any political party must read and understand the manifesto before joining a political party. Nonetheless, all politicians in the country are Hypocrites, as they do not honour their commitments made with the masses during the election campaigns.

She criticizes PTI because its PML Q part 2, thats her hatred towards PML Q at the moment. Madam what would be your response on the alliance between PML like minded & PML N? PML-n quit the federal government early on principle of restoration of judiciary. PML-n is the established opposition in the centre . Yes, the have the government of a province.
But don't mix up the two things. Please read the constitution and also help your fellow PTI brethren to get a better understanding of Govetnment making and how a federation works.

The hypocrisy of PTI has gone beyond insanity. There is too much of a difference between what Imram says and what Imran does.
I always took Marvi to be a sensible politician, and it's her own freewill to join whatever party she wants. But atleast she should do some analysis before going for a decision, and once she takes a decision she should stand by it - atleast for some time...
This program with Shahzeb Khanzada was a total failure for Marvi.
