KARACHI: Pakistan ten-pin bowlers Ijazur Rehman and Rashid Ali are confident that their training for the Brunswick Euro Challenge, which starts tomorrow in France, will stand them in good stead at the event. This is the first time Pakistan will participate in a European competition, and both Rehman and Ali are looking forward to the opportunity of playing amongst 475 bowlers representing 60 different countries. The bowlers leave for France today with hopes of reaching the quarter-finals at the very least. “It’s a huge opportunity for us and a big step for the Pakistani bowlers in general,” said Rehman. “Following our participation at this tournament, domestic players will be motivated to perform better.”
