Cricket: Ahmed spins PSM to victory

KARACHI: Off-spinner Waheed Ahmed claimed four scalps to spin PSM to a seven-wicket win against Port Qasim in their Qualifier Cricket League match at the Quaid-i-Azam Park ground. Batting first, Port Qasim were bowled out for 168 in 47 overs as Ahmed was the chief destroyer. In reply, Mohammad Sohail played an unbeaten knock of 62 runs, laced with 13 boundaries, to guide PSM past the target for the loss of three wickets in the 31st over. The winning team earned 31 points, while Port Qasim claimed just four points from the match.
