‘Involvement of PML-N in Mehrangate biggest lie of the century’
“Habib has changed his stance four times in the past four days… Commenting on the character of a person like Habib is equal to wasting time,” Sharif told reporters, while saying that he does not wish to go in detail into the “disgusting past of Habib which everyone already knows.”
Pointing towards the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) without mentioning the name, Sharif said that it would be a misperception on their part if they think that the PML-N will stop raising its voice against PPP’s corruption and the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
“We won’t rest unless the nation’s money is retrieved out of their vaults and spread at the nation’s feet.”
He further called on Habib to support his claims by bringing evidences to the court and added that he would fail in doing so as he was “clearly lying”.

PML-N reaction reminds me of PPP stance over memo-gate!
PML-N is again just like PPP conducting a character assassination as well as trying to create distance to the issue by avoiding to take the allegations pointing towards them head-on. If PML-N believes Mr. Habib is defaming PML-N then why don't they take him to court, something they are pretty good at? Or may be its PPP turn now :)
Nevertheless be it PPP or PML-N, based on their performance from the past as well as to the present comprise of leadership/ team that is incompetent, corrupt, and ones who really have no pain for the poor people of this country - and I feel national institutions like pak army is now in a runner up position.
May we the people of Pakistan help ourself!
Beneficiaries will deny it but it is sad that the money was not only embezzlement of public exchequer but also damage to democracy. Our country couldn't develop a strong democracy due to politicians like Sharifs who helped ISI in their nefarious plans. Now they will try to collude with PPP to save their faces. We are suffering because of these folks. Shame on you.
As obvious, CM is a good administrator (and I think one of the few good faces left in PMLN) but not necessarily a politician. That's why his strong denial is itself a testament to the truth of the Mehran Gate scandal.

You are so right MR. CM. Mehran Gate Scandal biggest lie of current century, because Mehran Gate happened in previous Century.
No one has a shred of doubt that the Sharif's have taken plenty of money from the intelligence agencies during their time. Younis Habib is one witness - there is plenty of evidence confirming the Sharif brothers are guilty.
