Cricket: Customs beat Medicam by 4 wickets

KARACHI: Yasir Hussain produced a splendid all-round show to help Customs defeat Medicam by four wickets in their Qualifier Cricket League match at the Rashid Latif Cricket Academy ground in Gulberg. Batting first, Medicam were bowled out for 155 in 39 overs. Off-spinner Yasir was the chief destroyer with a five-wicket haul. In reply, Customs reached the target for the loss of six wickets in 38.5 overs. Ziaul Haq made a fluent 38, while Yasir chipped in with an unbeaten 25. In accordance with the special points system employed in the league, Customs earned 33 points while Medicam took 6 points from the match.
