Bridge: The Allana take lead in national event

Seven teams are participating in the first-leg of the championship before the top four compete in the Lahore finals.

KARACHI: The Allana led the National Bridge Team Championship after the end of two rounds as they beat Foxy 25-1 in their opening fixture before drawing 15-15 with Tanvir in their second match. The results granted them 43 Victory Points (VP), putting them seven ahead of Solox, who defeated Foxy 22-8 and drew 15-15 with Century Insurance. Seven teams are participating in the first-leg of the championship before the top four compete in the Lahore finals. The winner of the national championship will represent Pakistan in the Second Mind Sports Championship in France in August.
