Finally the "WALL" called it a day before the ICB would break the wall of his self-esteem and replace him with some junior player. He was one of the paragons of modern cricket world and team India will take many years to fill his gap. Little Master needs to follow in the footsteps of his partner and say good-bye to his intransigence of not leaving the batting-pitch.
You will be missed .... Thank you for making my growing age delightful Rahul.
very sad to see great cricketers go
the most complete cricketer of his era...........! he will be missed not only by India but by every cricket loving person......! Hats off to you "THE WALL"
A Great cricketer,Man with a Iron will above all True gentle man.
In a team that comprised many attention seeking flashy players, Rahul was a total team man and performed whatever task allotted to him with perseverance and dignity. Often when India did not want to play a regular Wicket Keeper he was asked to stand in, which he did without complaint. When India did not have a regular opener he was asked to open too. He knew his job was to occupy the crease for long periods and he did so with a minimum of fuss. Discipline, determination and dedication best describe his approach to the game. With Rahul's departure the Indian team is one without a backbone. Let us wish Rahul all the best as he walks away - a fine Cricketer and a true Gentleman. A better role model for the game of Cricket will be hard to find.
Great Guy One of the most stylish and brilliant player in all formats of the game.especially He was one of the toughest wall to break in present times.

Everyone is watching you Tendulkar. You are not bigger than India, your country.
