Unnatural death: Missing doctor found dead in his car

A syringe was found with the body.

HYDERABAD: A 32-year-old doctor, who went missing two days ago, was found dead in his car which was parked on the Autobahn road in Latifabad. His mouth frothed saliva while a drip and a cannula were attached to one of his arms. The police also found a 3cc empty syringe from the car.

Dr HGK, a resident of Latifabad, was the father of three children and worked for the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company’s clinic in the Mirpurkhas district.

His family registered a missing person complaint at the Hussainabad police station on Tuesday. He was found Wednesday morning after the police and his family searched for him all night.

The family refused to speak to the media but the police sources said that HGK was upset by a family disturbance and had left his home in dismay.

According to the Jam Solangi SHO, Khan’s post-mortem did not suggest poisoning. However, chemical examination has been sent which will establish the cause of death. A case has been registered at the Hussainabad police station under section 174 of CrPC which deals with the investigation of an unnatural death.
