Cricket: West Indies recall Bravo for ODI series
NEW YORK:
All-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been recalled to the West Indies squad for their home One-Day International series against Australia. Fast-bowler Tino Best was also picked for his return as West Indies selectors chose an experienced squad for the first three games of the five-match series starting next week. “Over the last two years Best has been very consistent with his performance in the shorter format of the game,” said chairman of selectors Panel Clyde. “And Bravo looks like he has returned to form and has been consistent, plus his on-field experience will be of value to us.” Meanwhile, Ravi Rampaul, Lendl Simmons and Adrian Barath were all sidelined due to injuries.
