Crack-Down: Don’t ignore the quacks: YDA

LAHORE: The Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) has demanded an official crack-down on quacks. YDA office bearers Dr Rana Sohail, Dr Salman Kazmi, Dr Talha Sherwani, Dr Ghulam Qasim, Dr Murtaza Baloch, Dr Waqas Gondal and Dr Muhammad Amjad on Monday said the government was sealing godowns where dengue larvae were found but quacks and fake doctors were being ignored. YDA Pakistan demanded that the government make the anti-quackery committee headed by the Food Secretary Irfan Ali functional and start an immediate crackdown on fake doctors to save lives.
