Marriage row: Killed ‘for refusing to marry cousin’

Complaint filed saying woman was strangled following an argument over her brother suggestion to marry a cousin.

BAHAWALNAGAR: A woman was killed on Monday allegedly by her brother over her refusal to marry a man of his choice.

Minchinabad police identified the deceased as Shazia. They quoted the complaint filed as saying that the woman was strangled following an argument over her brother Yousaf’s suggestion to marry a cousin.
