Polo: Colony Sugar maintain unbeaten run

KARACHI: Colony Sugar continued to lead the National Polo Championship Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup as they defeated Guard Group/Newage 8-4 in Lahore to extend their unbeaten run. The team has now accumulated six points from three matches with a goal average of 17. Nestle lie in second place with the same number of points and a goal average of five after outplaying Hattaf/Diamond Paints 7-6 in their third fixture. Meanwhile, defending champions Master Paints also posted an 8-7 win against BBJ Pipes which took them to third position with four points. In the last match of the day, Pakistan Army/Nadra crushed Al-Khan/Ciros 14-9.
