Mansoor Ijaz had on Friday, told reporters outside the Pakistan High Commission, that Zardari had spoken to Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani when US helicopters infiltrated Pakistani territory, and ordered Pakistani jets to stand down.
Spokesperson to the President, Senator-elect Farhatullah Babar in a statement on Saturday dismissed as "absolutely untrue and unfounded," media reports about President Asif Ali Zardari's phone call to army chief on the night of May-2 raid on Osama BinLaden.
"A section of the media has carried reports implying that President Asif Ali Zardari had through a phone call, on the night ofMay-2 raid on Osama bin Laden, informed the army chief that the operation had been conducted with his approval."
The statement issued from the Presidency dismissed the reports as “absolutely untrue and unfounded."
For its part, Kayani too issued a statement through his public media arm, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The statement read “Referring to the statement of Mr Mansoor Ijaz as reported in the media, there was no telephone conversation between the President and the COAS on the night between 1 and May 2, 2011.
The spokesman further said that the “Military leadership has briefed the joint session of the Parliament as well as the Abbottabad Commission on the subject matter and there is nothing more to add to it.”

please discard mansoor once for all, as he is the bigiest lier,trying to gain prominace, how ever his mrs can get some attentation if media focus and probe.
So there was a major intrusion & there was no communication between the President & the Army Chief. Why? Through out the night, the American were there so close to PMA, & the Presmident wasn't informed. Banana Republic?

In t heir lust to get H Haqqani removed, these Generals told the whoile country that Mr Mansoor cannot speak lie. Now we should believe what ever he says orhe is lying about everything. In this "bath" all are naked. Tell me people wasn't the days of Mush better? We now have democracy, a free judiciary, and an army chief who hardly ever utters a word, we have all that but we have lost our country. Shame on this sham democracy and a sham judiciary.
Does anyone really believe that Zardari has the authority to order jets to stand down? Does anyone really believe that Pakistan would use it's jets to attack American's returning from a special op which hadn't harmed any Pakistan military or civilians (except for your pride)?

What a twist in the tail but one side is definitely lying and truth will never come out.
I just don't understand where this all is getting us to??? Before 2008 we were at least somehow sure that the army would come to rescue as they are the last line of defence. But we rediculed them and asked to empower the judicary.
Now, the judiciary, the army and the political elites are making a fool out of us. Why?? Why don't people see this?? What is the purpose of being a staunch pakistani ???

People of Pakistan must note one thing and that is Mansoor Ejaz is giving his statements without having a strong footing and grounds.
If Mansoor Ejaz is having such a caliber then why US Government has not appointed him as Chief of CIA or FBI?
He is among one of the frog's that is trying to come out from the well, but couldn't.
Let him be in the well, as if he is taken out and put on the surface, he will give more bad name to US Government and will create more gap between the US and Government of Pakistan.
