Polo: Colony Sugar takes Gold Cup lead

Colony Sugar leads the National Polo Championship Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup after defeating Pakistan Army 12-6 in Lahore. The team has won both its league matches to obtain four points with a goal average of 13.


Meanwhile, Nestle have also won two matches and occupy second position with four points and a goal average of two, having defeated BBJ Pipes 9-6 on the second day of the event. Defending champions Master Paints, who outplayed Hattaf-Diamond Paints 10-7, are placed third with two points.

The championship features eight teams scheduled to play seven league matches. The top two teams will vie for the title in the final on March 11.
