Learning strategies: PTCL holds annual sales conference

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) CEO and President Walid Irshaid has said that the company is on a growth trajectory not only because of its innovative products and services, but also because of its talented sales force. “Success in life comes from one simple thing – taking ownership of what you do,” said Irshaid while chairing Annual Sales Conference 2012 with a theme ‘Build, Operate, Own’ in Islamabad. “The only way we can succeed is through collective thinking, combined energies, synergised teamwork, proactive customer engagement and ownership of business,” he said. The day-long conference was attended by PTCL’s sales management teams comprising 71 officials, as well as senior officials from the commercial, human resource and marketing departments. The sales force learnt new strategies for diversifying sales approaches, maximising customer experience, providing after-sales services and achieving business targets.
