KUALA LUMPUR: Top-seed Agnieszka Radwanska’s first-round match at the Malaysian Open was interrupted by rain. The Polish world number five, who won in Dubai last week, was leading Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan 6-2, 3-3 when play was halted. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s Su-Wei Hsieh sailed into the quarter-finals after defeating Casey Dellacqua 6-1, 7-5. “I didn’t have much sleep the last two days and in fact took advantage of the three-hour rain delay to get some rest,” said Hsieh. Fifth-seed Petra Martic also advanced with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-0 second-round win over Kurumi Nara of Japan.
