Accident: 2 children die from generator exhaust

DASKA: Two kids died of suffocation and five others fainted due to smoke from a stand-by generator that filled the room on Sunday night. Muhammad Yousaf had organised a Mehfil-i-Milad in Kot Jando, in Bambanwala area. The generator was operated when a power outage occurred and the room it was in filled with exhaust fumes. Both two year old Merab and Fiza who had been sleeping in the room were later found dead while Babar, Danish, Tayyab, Zulqarnain and Zahid were found unconscious, and taken to Civil Hospital.
