LAHORE: With the Pakistan-Tehreen-i-Insaf announcing its series of policy seminars, the Pakistan Muslim League (like minded) has criticised that the 'tsunami' plagiarised a version of their own Road Map.

The spokesperson for Humayun Akhtar Khan, PML (like minded group), alleged that Jahangir Tareen’s seminar on energy was a replica of Khan’s “Road Map to Pakistan’s Recovery”, albeit with a few minor changes.

Calling it unfortunate, spokesman of the PML (Like Minded) requested other leaders to present original solutions to pull the country out of the crisis and prepare their own road maps rather than copying the plans of other political parties.

The representative of Pakistan Muslim League (Like Minded) said in a press statement that last year, PML Secretary General Humayun Akhtar Khan had launched his party’s Road Map which covered 25 areas including management of energy crises, economy, good governance, education, health, foreign policy, terrorism, constitutional reforms, women rights, minorities, industry, agriculture, services, trade, infrastructure, housing, water, culture and arts, environment etc.

He claimed that the PML (Like Minded) is the first political party which presented an organised road map to pull the country out of crises.

The spokesman added that last year in May, in a national newspaper, Khan’s comprehensive article titled “Resolving the Energy Crises” was also published.

Nisar | 12 years ago | Reply Copying an idea is not bad and we all copy each other's good ideas in life. The problem starts when a person copies an idea from others and brands it as his "own". This is called plagiarism and is dishonesty. That is why the educated workers of PTI are now leaving the party: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VZJP0KGd6fI http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2011%5C12%5C14%5Cstory_14-12-2011_pg7_14 When PTI does not get tired of pointing fingers towards others, it must do its own soul-searching as well. Can it afford to continue with this approach of copy/paste?

PML LM is a group of self serving people. I don't see their role in democracy. Humayun Akhtar is birth child of military that Ch Nisar rant about.
